Photography workshop research
I have come across this website that allows photographers to post their workshops and residential courses. I have looked at courses performed by people of a similar level of experience as myself and the prices of their courses and what they offer. The reason for this is If I explored worships further as a income I would live to see the income that is achievable and the interet Fri, Aug 18Book Now Aviemore, Scottish Highlands We will spend two days in this beautiful area in th

What is so positive ?
I have come across a local company called Positive environmental. This is a company that uses various poisons and toxins to exterminate "PESTS". I would love to incorporate their building in my display, perhaps staging a pop up exhibition in the car park as i have checked and it is public not privately owned land. The contrast between my images that draw into light the pesticides used on the bee population again their positive message of extermination, would not only bring in

BeeConnected
I have just signed up to this tracking website that shows when farmers will stay crops and what with. This could be very useful especially in the direction on the outside gallery. I could time a moving exhibition that would coincide with the spraying, hopefully having my images in the field as they are sprayed. My welcome email- Welcome to BeeConnected – bringing farmers and beekeepers together, and keeping beekeepers notified when a neighbouring farmer is applying insecticid

Interesting event
I was sent this link by a friend at the WBKA about a meet in which I could gain more contacts but also show my work to a very target specific audience.

It’s run by Artspace’s own Loney Abrams and her partner Johnny Stanish, artists who share a collaborative practice and pride themselves on their distinctly post-gallery approach to exhibiting art. The concept is fairly straightforward: after installing artworks in the out-of-the

Week 8
Week 8 This week I have been looking into developing plans to give my own workshop. I have firstly created bullet points outlining my strengths and weaknesses as a photographer. The reason for doing this is to see what area I could give a master level workshop, that would not only be engaging but beneficial to myself and the people on the course, the reason for looking at my weakness’ is that with so many students offering workshop placements I may find it beneficial to join

Hannah Lobley explains her work as;
"Inspired by the scissor bee’s nesting, habitat of pre-existing holes in deadwood situated near buttercup meadows; Bee is for Books is a recreation of this environment. An eco-friendly nesting site was created using the Paperwork technique, a unique recycling technique employingwaste paper. For this project, unwanted books and gardening magazines were used. The pages were layered back into a solid wood like material; traditional wood worki
